For nearly 20 years, I have been building businesses, yet for much of that time, I never fully understood <\/span>why<\/span><\/em> I was doing it\u2014or what truly motivated me.<\/span><\/p>\nThat changed during a sales seminar when the conversation turned to exit strategies. The speaker emphasized that a successful business should be built on clearly defined values, with those values embedded into its systems and standard operating procedures. In doing so, a company can continue to thrive even when its founder is no longer at the helm.<\/span><\/p>\nHe then made a statement that stayed with me: our core values are often rooted in something much deeper\u2014an experience, an emotional event, or something from our childhood that shaped the way we see the world.<\/span><\/p>\nThat got me thinking about mine.<\/span><\/p>\nWhere It Started<\/span><\/h4>\nI was partially raised by my grandmother, who was deaf. We traveled throughout the city together by bus, and from a very young age, I developed a protective nature toward her. I could hear; she could not. In my young mind, that meant I was responsible for looking out for her. <\/span>Of course, she didn’t need me to protect her. She was a perfectly capable adult. <\/span><\/p>\nBut I remember one particular story that my mother still tells to this day. <\/span>Apparently, while we were at McDonald’s, I warned the cashier, <\/span>\u201cYou better not try to cheat my grandma, because I can count!\u201d <\/span><\/em>And I could count. I had just learned how in school. <\/span>I still have no idea how that story made its way back to my mother, but she has never let me forget it. <\/span><\/p>\nLooking back, I realize that instinct never really left me.<\/span><\/p>\nProtecting Our Clients Through Information<\/span><\/h4>\nToday, I see that same sense of responsibility reflected in the way I approach business.<\/span><\/p>\nI believe that good design is more than making something look appealing. It is about understanding what a business actually needs, identifying what may be missing, and providing the knowledge and expertise necessary to make informed decisions.<\/span><\/p>\nThat is what Anything Anymated is ultimately about.<\/span><\/p>\nWhether you know exactly what you need or simply know that something isn’t working, our role is to help identify the right solution. For nearly 20 years, I have been building businesses, yet for much of that time, I never fully understood <\/span>why<\/span><\/em> I was doing it\u2014or what truly motivated me.<\/span><\/p>\nThat changed during a sales seminar when the conversation turned to exit strategies. The speaker emphasized that a successful business should be built on clearly defined values, with those values embedded into its systems and standard operating procedures. In doing so, a company can continue to thrive even when its founder is no longer at the helm.<\/span><\/p>\nHe then made a statement that stayed with me: our core values are often rooted in something much deeper\u2014an experience, an emotional event, or something from our childhood that shaped the way we see the world.<\/span><\/p>\nThat got me thinking about mine.<\/span><\/p>\nWhere It Started<\/span><\/h4>\nI was partially raised by my grandmother, who was deaf. We traveled throughout the city together by bus, and from a very young age, I developed a protective nature toward her. I could hear; she could not. In my young mind, that meant I was responsible for looking out for her. <\/span>Of course, she didn’t need me to protect her. She was a perfectly capable adult. <\/span><\/p>\nBut I remember one particular story that my mother still tells to this day. <\/span>Apparently, while we were at McDonald’s, I warned the cashier, <\/span>\u201cYou better not try to cheat my grandma, because I can count!\u201d <\/span><\/em>And I could count. I had just learned how in school. <\/span>I still have no idea how that story made its way back to my mother, but she has never let me forget it. <\/span><\/p>\nLooking back, I realize that instinct never really left me.<\/span><\/p>\nProtecting Our Clients Through Information<\/span><\/h4>\nToday, I see that same sense of responsibility reflected in the way I approach business.<\/span><\/p>\nI believe that good design is more than making something look appealing. It is about understanding what a business actually needs, identifying what may be missing, and providing the knowledge and expertise necessary to make informed decisions.<\/span><\/p>\nThat is what Anything Anymated is ultimately about.<\/span><\/p>\nWhether you know exactly what you need or simply know that something isn’t working, our role is to help identify the right solution. For nearly 20 years, I have been building businesses, yet for much of that time, I never fully understood <\/span>why<\/span><\/em> I was doing it\u2014or what truly motivated me.<\/span><\/p>\nThat changed during a sales seminar when the conversation turned to exit strategies. The speaker emphasized that a successful business should be built on clearly defined values, with those values embedded into its systems and standard operating procedures. In doing so, a company can continue to thrive even when its founder is no longer at the helm.<\/span><\/p>\nHe then made a statement that stayed with me: our core values are often rooted in something much deeper\u2014an experience, an emotional event, or something from our childhood that shaped the way we see the world.<\/span><\/p>\nThat got me thinking about mine.<\/span><\/p>\nWhere It Started<\/span><\/h4>\nI was partially raised by my grandmother, who was deaf. We traveled throughout the city together by bus, and from a very young age, I developed a protective nature toward her. I could hear; she could not. In my young mind, that meant I was responsible for looking out for her. <\/span>Of course, she didn’t need me to protect her. She was a perfectly capable adult. <\/span><\/p>\nBut I remember one particular story that my mother still tells to this day. <\/span>Apparently, while we were at McDonald’s, I warned the cashier, <\/span>\u201cYou better not try to cheat my grandma, because I can count!\u201d <\/span><\/em>And I could count. I had just learned how in school. <\/span>I still have no idea how that story made its way back to my mother, but she has never let me forget it. <\/span><\/p>\nLooking back, I realize that instinct never really left me.<\/span><\/p>\nProtecting Our Clients Through Information<\/span><\/h4>\nToday, I see that same sense of responsibility reflected in the way I approach business.<\/span><\/p>\nI believe that good design is more than making something look appealing. It is about understanding what a business actually needs, identifying what may be missing, and providing the knowledge and expertise necessary to make informed decisions.<\/span><\/p>\nThat is what Anything Anymated is ultimately about.<\/span><\/p>\nWhether you know exactly what you need or simply know that something isn’t working, our role is to help identify the right solution. I had just learned how in school. <\/span>I still have no idea how that story made its way back to my mother, but she has never let me forget it. <\/span><\/p>\n Looking back, I realize that instinct never really left me.<\/span><\/p>\n Today, I see that same sense of responsibility reflected in the way I approach business.<\/span><\/p>\n I believe that good design is more than making something look appealing.
